With 27 years in the beauty industry, my passion for education and love for evolving trends keep me inspired every single day. But my real turning point came in 2018, when I attended a transformative Deva Curl class in Portland, Oregon — and everything changed. Not just how I approach my clients' hair, but how I finally understood my own curls.

Learning to embrace and work with my natural texture was a revelation, and it sparked a hunger for more. I knew I needed to find a curl stylist I could truly learn from — someone who was living and breathing this work at the highest level. That search led me to Loni Jean at Desert Curl Studio, and through her, to Innersense Organic Beauty. Those connections deepened everything — my techniques, my product philosophy, and my passion for clean, curl-loving ingredients.

I dove deep into the world of curly hair — studying curl patterns, porosity, density, and the products that actually work — so I could bring that knowledge back to my curlfriends in the salon. I now cut each curl individually, honoring its unique shape and movement, and I love helping clients understand their hair so they can recreate that salon magic at home.

Sharing what I've learned is honestly my favorite part of the job. Whether it's a product recommendation, a technique tip, or just helping someone see their curls in a whole new way — that moment of connection is everything.
