We had a long appointment and she took the time to discuss discuss my hair's background, my normal treatment of it, things that I could improve, how to make it do certain things, and paid attention to what I was looking for and (almost more importantly) what I did not want from my haircut.
She really knows what she is doing with curly hair and the Curly Girl method. She understands "long hair" and showed me what the length would be afterwards before making any cuts.
She not only does but truly enjoys, continuing education so that she stays up-to-date on how to make you look your best. She was very friendly and it was a relaxed atmosphere.

She will teach you so much about your curls and how to take care of them, how to style them and give you a cut that not only looks beautiful day one but until your next cut. Before it seemed after a month the dreaded triangle/pyramid would appear. But with Jenne it does not. I have referred many women with curls of every type to Jenne. I had my first cut with Jenne in May and it was fabulous! This is the first time I’ve ever had my hair cut by someone who specialized in curly hair and it is so worth it! She did a great job cutting my hair, telling me exactly what products to use and what my hair needed. She showed me step by step how to achieve the look I wanted. I can go 2-3 days without washing my hair which I had never been able to do before. Also, I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my hair after she did it!! She is very friendly & easy to talk to!
